These are super quick and really easy. And use only 1 dish (plus a spoon)
Get Ready to Bake Quick Squares:- Find a glass, square baking dish
Ingredients- 1 1⁄2 c small flake oatmeal
- 1/2 cup wheat germ or wheat bran
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1⁄2 spt Vanilla
- 1⁄2 cup Butter
Instructions- Put the butter in the glass dish
- Microwave the butter about 20 seconds until it's melted and runny
- Put eveything else in the pan
- Stir until it's well mixes
- Put in microwave for 5 minutes on high.
- Allow to cool.
- Cut and serve (or dig it out with a spoon and eat crumbs!)
ENJOY!!!!! You may also like to add things such as cocoa, chocolate chips, chopped almonds, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries or anything else you can think of. (If you do add cocoa, add 1/4 cup, and 1/4 more sugar). These are great in my lunch box and as an after school snack. |
