Grandparents's Guide to: Spoiling their Grandkids

Grandparent’s Guide to: Spoiling Your Grandkids

It’s known that most Grandparents spoil their Grandkids. But is it possible to spoil them too much?

If you’re one of the Grandparents that look after your Grandkids everyday after school and you know all of their friends and you act as chauffeur you‘re most likely a very generous person. This might include offering to buy things for them like dinner every time they come over or take them out bowling, go-karting, snow tubing, etc. I’m sure your Grandkids appreciate this very much and enjoy it, but it could possibly make them feel bad because you insist on paying for them and their friends to do everything, drive them wherever they need to go and pick everyone up.

You don’t have to say yes every time they ask for something; that can get expensive. If your Grandkids insist on paying for themselves, let them.  I’m not saying that you shouldn’t do them favors or treat them, but your Grandkids might feel bad because you spend so much money and time on them.  But at the same time they might indulge in it, and that’s okay; they’re your Grandkids! In the end it’s all to your discretion. I’m just giving a bit of advice from the perspective of a Grandkid.
